Teach Children To Save

National Teach Children to Save Day (TCTS) was established to spotlight the importance of teaching our youth about saving money. This event occurs every April when bankers make presentations to students in grades K-12 about budgeting, saving, recognizing needs and wants and how interest makes money grow. We won’t be visiting classrooms this year, instead we’ll share tips and resources.

Financial education combined with a deposit account experience at an early age can shape a young person's financial identity, attitudes, and habits in a way that can last for a lifetime.

The tools and resources listed here support financial education for youth.
