High School Scholarships

Congratulations to our 2026 Seniors!  We are proud of all your accomplishments.  Citizens Bank Minnesota and Citizens Agency Minnesota firmly believe in the investment of our youth, and their preparation for successful careers, through scholarships.  Dependents of full-time Citizens Bank Minnesota or Citizens Agency Minnesota employees who have completed at least one year of service are eligible to receive a $500 scholarship.

Dependents of part-time employees who have completed at least one year of service are also encouraged to apply. Applications from part-time employees’ dependents will be reviewed and scholarships awarded on a case-by-case basis.

To be eligible for the one time, non-renewable scholarship, you must complete the following by April 1st, 2026:

  • Have an active Citizens Bank Minnesota checking account.
  • Be a dependent of a Citizens Bank Minnesota or Citizens Agency Minnesota employee who has been employed for at least one year.
  • Plan on attending an accredited 2 or 4 year college.
  • Watch this short but relevant video on personal finance:  Personal Finance for High School Students
  • Take this simple quiz with questions taken from the above video:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/C3X5W6J
  • Short essay (250 - 500 words) about themselves and their future plans (included area for essay in the quiz link above).

Once you have completed these items, your qualifications for eligibility will be verified by April 10th.  Funds will be payable directly to your school within your first semester.  Please contact Missy Visser at mvisser@citizensmn.bank with any questions.
